The Empty Sky 9/11 Memorial was designed to preserve the memory of the 749 New Jersey residents killed during the September 11, 2001 attack on New York City’s World Trade Center. The purpose of the memorial is to comfort the victims’ families and to help them understand that their memories will not be lost.
The memorial has two walls that evoke the World Trade Center Towers, which were destroyed during the terrorist attack. The walls are decorated with the names of the people who have passed away and are written in parallel. People from all walks of the world visit the memorial to pay homage to those who suffered the loss of their lives. While the monument is peacefully set amongst cherry trees, nothing can alter the tragic events that occurred on the day.

The Thomas Edison National Historical Park is a former lab complex that reveals the past, back when belts and pulleys controlled machines and recorded music on the phonograph. It houses a variety of objects which Thomas Edison, one of the greatest inventors of our time, utilized. Edison’s recordings of his talking doll in 1888 are among his favorite items. Through their Wolf Watch Tours, Lakota Wolf Preserve lets you see close-up wild wolves through their eyes. The preserve is amid four packs of wolves pack when you step inside the preserve. While watching the wolves play, interact, and howl, you’ll learn about their lives’ social structure and eating habits and interactions with humans.
The preserve also has bobcats and foxes. On weekends, reservations and drop-ins are necessary to take tours, and photos of the safeguard of the animals are allowed. On Mondays, except for the preserve, There are two tours available each day.
